VAT on Cross-Border Digital Services in Latin America

In this article the author analyses the challenges that cross-border digital service providers face when dealing with Latin American countries. Compared to other regions, such as the European Union, Latin America indeed lacks a common framework for digital services, which may discourage suppliers when analysing the region with a view to launching or expanding their services.
