Become an IBFD author
As an IBFD author, you:
- have considerable country-specific or topic-specific tax knowledge
- have demonstrable writing experience (in English) in the area of international tax
- are affiliated with a firm or government body with a solid reputation for its expertise in tax matters

Meet the Author
Every month, we turn the spotlight on one of our notable authors and influential contributors, to showcase their accomplishments and highlight their substantial contributions to IBFD's portfolio.
Our current Author of the Month is:

Dr. Jeroen Lammers
Dr. Jeroen Lammers is Assistant Professor of International Tax Law at Copenhagen Business School as well as a Partner at Publyon, a firm that consults on the possible impact of changes in public policy regarding taxation and sustainability. His research focuses on the intersection between international and EU tax law and other areas of research such as economics, social studies and/or (legal) philosophy.
Dr. Lammers was awarded his PhD by the University of Amsterdam for his thesis “The Spirit of International Tax Law” (forthcoming in IBFD’s Doctoral Series). Prior to his academic career, held several positions in the Dutch Business Confederation (VNO-NCW), amongst which Director of Economic Policy and Head of Tax Policy. Between 2016 and 2019 he was a member of the European Commission’s Platform for Tax Good Governance on behalf of BUSINESSEUROPE.
Dr. Lammers’ list of publications include “The Case for an EU Cap on Interest on Underpaid Tax: Protecting the Internal Market” (Intertax, 2024) and “Has Public Opinion Moved the Political Needle on Corporate Tax Avoidance?” (Tax Notes International 2021). As IBFD correspondent for Denmark, he contributes regularly to our News and Case Law collections, our VAT LawLink publication and several of our Quick Reference Tables.
