The IBFD Library and Information Centre houses a vast collection of tax resources from around the globe. Our selection of primary and secondary sources include extensive tax book collections, journals, reports, treaties, and case law from over 150 jurisdictions, enabling researchers to explore various tax systems, regulations, and policies worldwide. Information on our resources is freely available to all.

Many of these resources can be found and accessed through the core library collection, but also in discovery services such as Articles+ and OpenAccess+, which provide access beyond our core collection. Our Library Resources Include:

More than 140 tax databases, including: the IBFD Tax Research Platform, Bloomberg Tax, Lexis Library, Kluwer International Tax Laws, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint and many more.

More than 3,000 e-journal and e-book collections, including: Cambridge University Press, EBSCOhost, Torrossa, ProQuest Ebook Central and others.

More than 500 website resources (organized by country) from governments, tax authorities, courts, universities and international organizations relevant to (international) tax, case law, legislation, federal laws, etc. Some of these websites include Internal Revenue Code (IRC) on revenue rulings and Federal Register of various local federal-related laws and other information.
