Taxation of Insurance Companies in Afghanistan

The insurance sector plays an important role in the socio-economic development of a country. In this article, the author gives a brief overview of the insurance sector in Afghanistan and then summarizes the provisions of income tax law concerning the taxation of insurance companies in Afghanistan. The article concludes that strengthening the insurance sector will help mitigate social and economic uncertainties in Afghanistan.
