Taxation of Derivatives

Although the use of derivatives has recently become more widespread in Turkey, many ambiguities regarding legal aspects and taxation remain, and work is still under way to improve the legal framework governing derivatives. This article provides a background on the taxation of derivatives in Turkey and considers certain issues of note.
