Parliament

This overview highlights the Parliament’s: (i) discussions on the implications of US tax policies on the competitiveness of EU businesses; (ii) encouragement to ban tax havens and enforce wealth-based taxation; (iii) broad support for the BEFIT proposal but with several proposed changes; and (iv) call for the simplification of tax rules and removal of tax barriers for EU businesses.
