Hyperinflation in Argentina

Argentina is again in the middle of another economic crisis with very high levels of inflation that may result in hyperinflation if the situation is not handled responsibly. The most pressing aspect is the inability of the country to service its external debt without a restructuring (voluntary or otherwise). This article provides a brief description of economic life in an inflationary environment, focusing on the financial and tax consequences for non-resident investors.
