FATCA-Exempting Deemed-Compliant Foreign Financial Institutions and Intergovernmental Agreements

In light of reporting obligations under the Foreign Accounts Tax Compliance Act, commonly known as FATCA, the Australian government has invited submissions on the advantages and disadvantages of an intergovernmental agreement between Australia and the United States.
