Corporate Tax Residence Reform under Italian Law

This note discusses the recent reform regarding corporate tax residence under Italian law under Legislative Decree No. 209 of 27 December 2023. In this regard, the authors highlight the relevance of the reform, which aims to ensure greater compliance of domestic rules with international best practices and Italy’s tax treaties, coordinating them with the PE concept.
