This overview highlights the Commission’s (i) welcoming of the completion of the “Fit for 55” legislation package; (ii) closing of infringement procedures against Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Lithuania concerning their structure of excise duties on alcohol; (iii) closing of infringement procedures against Croatia and Lithuania concerning their transposition of the Excise Framework Directive; (iv) closing of infringement procedures against Romania, Luxembourg, Italy and Lithuania regarding the transposition of DAC7 into national law; and (v) approval of French scheme to foster cooperation in the agricultural sector.
